Midnight Blue > Playing with some zoom. Pushed colors hard w/help from Alien Skin.

Midnight Blue > Chicken Hawks in Allentown? Yes. First sighted by a friend at work, these were thought to be Falcons by rumor. A friend who is experienced with bird-in-flight photography ID'd them.

Midnight Blue > I actually like this shot. Local residents of Allentown enjoying a cool, overcast morning in the park have a look at local renovation efforts. This particular part of Allentown remains true to the Old City and is safe, clean and thus livable for all.

Midnight Blue > A fountain! How exciting! NOT. But, attempted some slow shutter speed, few color experiments, some depth-of-field practice, as you'll see.

Midnight Blue > Pushing depth-of-field.

Midnight Blue > Sparrows are just wicked-fast, and very hard to shoot. All crops you see in this gallery are very aggressive, and, with the sparrows, lucky captures. (To make the point, a few sharp shots out of, say, 100 is just tough. I've never seen anything so fast through the viewfinder.)
